All Saints’ Church is an ideal venure for a group outing by coach or private car. There are ample parking facilities and refreshments available if required. Tea, coffee and biscuits can be provided on your arrival at a small cost and afternoon teas are also greatly recommended. Tea or cofee and biscuits is £3 and afternoon teas £6.00 and this includes a guided tour of the church and a talk on its history and the life of Lewis Carroll. Talk can be tailored to suit the time you have available, from 1 hour to 3 hours. If you are looking for a full day outing to the area then we would suggest visiting Daresbury in the morning and Norton Priory in the afternoon where they have a wonderful walled garden, extensive garden walks and an interesting priory giving insight into life as a monk in the 12th and 13th Century.
If a more substantial meal is require, ‘The Ring O’ Bells’ is opposite the church car park and ‘The Hatton Arms’ is just a mile down the road. There is also a cafe at Norton Priory.
